System evolution of forward-backward multiplicity correlations in a multiphase transport model

The initial geometry effect on forward-backward multiplicity correlations $C(N_{f},N_{b})$ is studied in relativistic collisions between light nuclei by using a multiphase transport model (AMPT). It found that tetrahedron $^{16}$O + gives more uniform and symmetrical fireball which produces isotropic distribution of final particles after the expansion evolution, leads to small $C(N_{f},N_{b})$. Forward-backward correlation could be taken as useful probe distinguish pattern $\alpha$-clustered experiments comparing neighboring colliding nuclear systems like $^{14}$N $^{19}$F $^{19}$F.
